The old is constantly being made new! To celebrate Beethoven’s music ‘SOLI style’ during the San Antonio Symphony’s citywide festival, we have commissioned no less than FOUR new works. Experience the world premieres of the latest works from composers Doug Balliett, Paul Moravec, Dan Welcher and Xi Wang inspired and influenced by Beethoven’s exciting Grosse Fuge, plus the premiere of Brian Bondari‘s transcription of the Fuge for SOLI.
