Baltimore’s Evolution Contemporary Music Series will present a portrait concert of the music of Martin Bresnick, celebrated composer and the head of Yale University’s composition department, where he has taught and mentored many of today’s important young composers. The concert will be devoted to Bresnick’s solo and chamber music inspired by the words and images of Franz Kafka and Francisco Goya. Performers will feature the Peabody Percussion Group; Georgi Videnov, vibraphone; Tracy Anne Smith, guitar; Kenneth Osowski, piano; Peter Kibbe, cello; and Lauren Rausch, violin.
