An evening of dynamic new music from live electroacoustic pioneer Earl Howard and FLUX Quartet violinists Tom Chiu and Conrad Harris.

2011 Guggenheim Fellow Earl Howard, a pioneer in the development of live electronic processing and extended instrumental techniques, presents the premiere of his Guggenheim commission Superstring, with Wu Wei (sheng, erhu), Alan Jaffe (guitar),Miya Masaoka (koto), Ernst Reijseger (cello), Mark Dresser (bass), Harris Eisenstadt(percussion), and Earl Howard, (Kurzweil K2600).

Pioneering violinists Tom Chiu and Conrad Harris of the renowned FLUX Quartet present a diverse set of works by Elizabeth Hoffman, Ben Johnston, Alvin Lucier, Giacinto Scelsi, Christian Wolff, and a world premiere by Chiu
