The Meeting List -- Update

Hi everyone!

As one of the hosts of livingroom.org, let me welcome all the new
members to the meeting mailing list! At last count, there are 50 of us,
forming what I think it a pretty terrific core group. In addition, any
number of other people are reading the posts directly on the Web site.

On a site-housekeeping note, our RealAudio was down over the weekend,
but should be working again. If anyone has any problems listening to our
RealAudio files -- or listening to or seeing anything else, for that
matter -- please email host@livingroom.org. Those emails get sent on to
me, Zona Hostetler and Douglas Repetto -- your hosts.

There are a few other things you can do for the livingroom.org.

1) Send us your material! We would really love to add new features to
the livingroom part of the livingroom, which we originally hoped would
rotate constantly. If you have any kind of digital or potentially
digital works of art, see the "About the site" section for instructions
on how to get them to us. (Or just tell us what we can link to!)

2) Tell us what you've seen/heard lately! Thanks to the able fingertips
of Doug Repetto, our "Kitchen" section has been full of great timely
listings of events from across the world. But I think it would be great
if members of the livingroom.org community could post mini-essays hear
on meeting@livingroom.org describing the events they attend! Nothing
formal, but I'm sure we'd all be interested.

3) Help us make the site better. This site was intended to be constantly
recreated by its users. Any ideas, thoughts, takeovers, whatever, are
more than welcome!

Yours,
Dan
