>This is a forum for artists with something to say. A shriekback of
re/creation -- a sharp-tongued commentary on mass media -- A new twist on
the sensory overload of sounds, images and concepts that form our daily
wall
of noise. Satire is encouraged. Make an artistic and political statement
about the 3-D, surroundsound barrage of our pop/unpop culture.

>The Plunderpalooza Project is a curated exhibition of performed artworks
on
the theme of exploring the usage of that which exists already in our
cultural milieu -- including mass media messages, corporate culture
messages, existing artworks, ideas, cultural icons, news media, products
or
other material associated with our consumer society -- and appropriating
or
relocating it into a new, original artwork commenting on this society and
the right of the artist to respond to it and reflect it with her own
porpose
and vision.
